P. Universidad Católica de Valparaíso is currently one of the most important university in the country. Its ample academic offer include fields such as business administration and economics, agricultural sciences, oceanographic sciences, art and architecture, natural and basic sciences, law, religion sciences, education, humanities and engineering.

RESEARCH: A WINDOW FOR KNOWLEDGE
The P. Universidad Católica de Valparaíso has devoloped an active, long-term and productive research program. This effort has brought about results that represent a step forward in the field of academic knowledge, including applied and innovative solutions to diverse types of problems.
We can highlight outstanding results in the fields of basic sciences, agronomical sciences, humanities, environmental sciences, fisheries and engineering, in which the university has received both public and privete support, at the national and international levels.
In order to transfer this knowledge to the public and private sectors, the University has created the Office of Technical Cooperation and the Office for Technological Transfer, aiming at the implementation of special training, and technological assistance programs.
